MYS Youth Leadership Programs:

Mutivation Youth Service's Award-Winning Teen Behavioral Modification(TBM) program is designed to provide at-risk Teens with the tools needed to succeed in everyday life. MYS counselors/facilitators are active law enforcement professionals that are highly educated and trained in behavior modification solutions. The TBM program participants are referred by concerned parents, probation departments, school districts, and youth court.

    • "ENT-CAMPŠ"Objective is:

      * To provide a skill assessment to determine the type of interest participants have in entertainment careers

      * To build upon the results of an interests based survey to provide skill based training and education to students in the field of entertainment

      * To educate students in primary areas: talent development, business principles, music composition, studio and audio engineering, talent showcase production and staffing

      * To provide mentoring and insight into entertainment field careers through interaction facilitated by REAL industry professionals

      * To introduce participants to entertainment career education resources through outings to Schools of Performance, Film, Recording, and other related fields in the Entertainment Industry

      * To provide insight through discussion and activities of the impact of entertainment on social norming and behavior

      * To assess student progress and program impact through the administration of pre and post student surveys, a comprehensive knowledge test and post completion program evaluation


      MYS offers "ENT-CAMPŠ" to schools, behavioral departments, after school programs, and various organizations within the communities.The purpose of this day, weekly, monthly, or yearly camp will be to expose students to careers and career requirements that they must meet to work in the Entertainment Industry. Students will gain knowledge and work experience in various vocations representing the entertainment industry, and they will apply their newly learned skills as part of a talent showcase produced, performed, and managed by camp participants.

    • Money B's Hip-Hop 101 Youth Leadership Program:

      • Money B is a Hip-Hop legend that has sold over 10 million records. Best known for being a key member of the Iconic Hip-Hop group Digital Underground also known for discovering the most influential Hip-Hop artist of all-time Tupac Shakur. In an era where youth are influenced by the Hip-Hop industry, Money B's Hip-Hop 101 will teach youth the facts on Hip-Hop with a Leadership twist.

        • From Pistols 2 Pencils

          From Pistols 2 Pencils Program (P2P). P2P is a youth led advocacy program that advocates against the issues of gun and gang violence within the community.Within this program youth will attend various monthly workshops, trainings, and community events in efforts to become leaders in their communities. P2P has been funded by The California Endowment, The Community Foundation, and other generous donations. P2P is primarily headed by Young Visionaries Youth Leadership Academy and assisted by community organizations such as Mutivation Youth Services and others.

          P2P on the move! Since the P2P program started in October of 2009, we have been on fire! With various workshops, trainings, community council meetings, field trips and more. P2P works have been cited in various community newspapers (Press Enterprise, The Sun, Inland Valley News, and Black Voice News), major television (CBS Channel 2, KABC Channel 7, KCAL Channel 9), and major mainstream radio (105.9 Power 106 and 99.1 KGGI).

          P2P and the Entertainment Industry. P2P has received plenty of support from some of the entertainment industry's elite. We understand that youth are highly influenced by celebrities. We have built many relationships with world renowned Stars, some celebs that have participated in our P2P program have been; Def Jam Recording Artist "YG", Hip-Hop Legend "Money B" of Digital Underground/Tupac Shakur, Star of Moesha, Roll Bounce, Another Cinderella Story and other movie and tv shows Actor "Marcus Paulk, Recording Artist/ Actor and brother of Nick Cannon "Gabriel Cannon", "LAX BOYZ", Freedom Writers Movie Star Actor "Jason Finn" "Indian" of the R&B group LOCKE, Film and TV Star "Kel Mitchell", Gospel Star "Kierra Ki-Ki Sheard.
